Delegating Leaves

Occasionally, a leave request may be submitted to one manager who decides to pass it on, or delegate it to another manager. Clicking the Delegate button on the Manage Leave Requests page provides several options for managing leave delegation:

• Transfer Ownership – Delegates a leave request to another approver.
• Delegate all Leaves – Allows you to delegate all of the leave requests you are an approver for to the managers of your choosing.
• Manage Delegation Periods – Provides filtering functionality to allow you to search for and delegate leave requests for a specified time period. For example, you're going away for 2 weeks, and you want any leave requests that you receive during that period to be automatically delegated to other managers while you are away.
